A new partnership has been announed between ShoreTel and Starleaf to provide enhanced video conferencing capabilities onto the ShoreTel Connect UC platform.  Starleaf are now a full ShoreTel technology partner and have integrated into the new ShoreTel Connect platform to further enhance the video conferencing capabilities available to ShoreTel customers.

ShoreTel is focused on creating a holistic and intuitive user experience across the complete UC stack,” said Eugenia Corrales, Senior Vice President of Product at ShoreTel. “With our rollout of video collaboration for ShoreTel Connect CLOUD, we are delivering seamless visual communications and business collaboration. We are excited to offer our customers robust cloud video conferencing functionality through StarLeaf’s industry-leading OpenCloud platform.

StarLeaf and ShoreTel each provide unique value propositions for customers that want to move to the cloud for all their communications needs,” said Mark Loney, CEO of StarLeaf. “With thousands of people relying on ShoreTel’s cloud communications solutions every day, our relationship will support those customers who want to fast-track the adoption of video throughout their business, while benefiting from a seamless environment that delivers ease of use, centralized management and low cost of ownership.

The above integration will give users the ability to bring together video conferencing room systems (such as Cisco/Polycom/Lifesize) as well as other collaboration platforms (such as Skype for Business) into a single, simple platform.  No more heavy reliance on IT to organise Video Conferences, everything can be simply coordinated through your existing ShoreTel Connect application.
